‘Bae Bee!’: Ashanti Leaves Fans Lusting Over Her Sweet ‘Red Velvet’ Look

Ashanti is a sight for sore eyes, to say the least.

The “Rain on Me” singer left fans with a sweet tooth this week after showing off her beauty and voguish fashions. She took to Instagram on Tuesday and uploaded a photo of herself wearing a burgundy and white polka dot blouse, velvet pants and black pumps.

Ashanti crossed her legs fiercely, posing it up for the ‘Gram, and added in her caption, ” Red Velvet 🍰…. “A Christmas Winter song” Saturday Dec 14 on @lifetimetv #Ep.”

As of late, Ashanti has been focused on her career and recently announced she’d be executive producing a new Lifetime film titled “A Christmas Winter Song.”

She sat down with E News earlier this week to discuss her new project and getting into the holiday spirit.

“I love Christmas and I have the opportunity to executive produce a film like this,” she said, adding that it was an “amazing experience.”

The film is centered around Ashanti’s character Clio, who befriends homeless musician Fred, played by actor Stan Shaw, after her father passes away. After inviting Fred to work in her shop and “perform for the customers in an act of goodwill,” Clio and Fred both realize they have “family troubles in common.”

The 39-year-old crooner continues to add to her résumé after starring in films “John Tucker Must Die,” “Coach Carter,” “Christmas In the City,” “Stuck,” “Resident Evil: Extinction,” “Army Wives,” and many more.

“A Christmas Winter Song” will premiere on Lifetime on Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
