‘Shmooood’: Steve Harvey’s Raunchy Tune Leaves Little to the Imagination When It Comes to Wife Marjorie

A throwback clip of a raunchy tune Steve Harvey and fellow comedian Cedric the Entertainer breaking it down last year is a riot for fans. And it has potentially given them a glimpse into how the former “Steve” host gets down with wife Marjorie Harvey.

Harvey’s “Steve” talk show Instagram account posted a clip from the musical edition of his episode last year that saw him and his “The Original Kings of Comedy” co-star Cedric break down the night’s plans for their ladies.

“Ohhh we gon’ get neckit!” Steve sings as he mimes playing the piano.

“Get neckit!” Cedric echoes.

“We gon’ be together late at night!” sings Steve.

Then came arguably the most sing-a-long worthy part of the song.

“Think I oughta spell it for you,” Steve says before going into it. “I said, N-E-C-K-I-T. Everybody get neckit with me!”

The moment left fans cracking up.

“😂😂😂❤❤❤Shmooooood!!!”

“Lol this part never gets old😂😂😂”

“You two are the best 😂😂😂😂”

“I thought I heard naked 🙈😁🤣 good thing you called out the letters”

“😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I’m weak”

“😅😅😅😅😅😅😅 my new favourite song lol. Lets get NECKIT. The girl can sang.”

Fans may be seeing the humor in Steve’s love ode, but the adoration he has for his wife is no laughing manner.

Steve and Marjorie wed in 2007 after initially meeting in the 1980s. At the time, the comic’s standup career was blossoming and he even noted that she would become his wife someday.

On the segment “Rolling with Steve Harvey,” the “Family Feud” host explained that he and his wife initially met back in 1987, but they broke up two years later because he “was becoming homeless.”

“I stopped the show,” he said of how he reacted to seeing Marjorie in the front row of the comedy club at the time. “The first word I said to Marjorie was … ‘I don’t know who you are, but I’m gonna marry you one day.'”

The two went their separate ways and had their own marriages (Steve was married to his first wife, Marcia Harvey, from 1980 to 1994). But in the mid-2000s they rekindled their romance after their divorces.

“Got her on a private jet the next day, flew to Memphis, had lunch with her, been with her ever since,” he said of a phone call he got from Marjorie once she had been divorced for four years.
