Ashanti may be known for her overt sex appeal, but she’s also infamous for her elegant and classy fashion style.
Over the past two weeks, the “Rain On Me” singer made several public appearances, including her visit to the “Today” show last Friday, to promote her new film “Stuck,” which debuted in select theaters on April 19.
While appearing on the daytime television show, the Grammy Award winner sported elegant dress that grabbed viewers’ attention. She was styled by celebrity stylist Wilford Lenov who outfitted her in a navy blue striped Escada dress, black cinched belt and white, classic Tom Ford pumps that retail for $790.
Ashanti rocked straight, platinum-blond tresses styled by New York celebrity hairstyle Kalief Wolfe. She also went for a full-fledged makeup glam look, including a bronzed face, a gold and brown eye shadow, and mauve metallic lipstick.
The singer wrote in her Instagram caption on Tuesday, “Thinking about what happen last night like…😜.”

Ashanti’s fashion is just one of the many things fans gush over. They’re also obessesed with the star’s slim yet curvy physique.
The singer said she’s big on eating healthy and exercising regularly. She told People magazine last week that she follows a mostly pescatarian diet and cut out the majority of her meat intake.
“I cut out a lot of meat,” she said. “I think again, self-health and self-awareness are so important. All of that stuff is so important to maintaining your body, knowing what’s in your food, the GMO’s and the chemicals, and I’m super aware of this stuff.”
Her lifestyle change has caused her to switch to natural deodorants, toothpastes and other products. She admitted, “I’m kind of a weirdo with that stuff,” adding that it’s part of her approach to health, along with a few other moves.
“I have a trainer and we try to go five days a week when I’m home and then when I get to another place, he’s texting me a workout or he’ll FaceTime me and say, ‘Are you still in the bed?’ We try to keep it going.”
