Safaree Samuels Posts Pic of Fiancée Erica Mena as ‘Baddest in the Game,’ Internet Questions If He’s Only Marrying Her For Her Looks

Love and Hip Hop: New York” star Safaree Samuels is catching flak from fans after posting one of the reasons why he asked Erica Mena to marry him.

Samuels and his fiancée are expected to walk down the aisle sometime soon, but in the meantime they’ve just been gushing over each other all over social media. The “New York” rapper even shared an alluring post of Mena on his Instagram feed Thursday evening, but it quickly spiraled out of control when fans began questioning his intentions for her.

The “LHHNY” actor posted a thirst-trapping photo of his soon-to-be wife with many of her physical assets showing. In his caption, he seemingly addressed those asking him why he would marry Mena, suggesting that she was the “baddest in the game.”

“No1 can ask me why I proposed to this woman,” Samuels wrote on April 4 alongside his fiancée’s racy photo. “I Win!!! Baddest in the game & world! And she looks like this in real life 🥵🥵 I love getting pics like these 😇😈 #noregulargirl.”

Samuels’ post immediately drew backlash from fans.

“Shame people don’t know what love feels like shouldn’t u be with her other than her looks😵 ?”

“After the looks what else is there? Cuz she can lose the beauty overnight fam and that’s real talk.”

“Well it’s clear @iamsafaree that you proposed because of what she looks like. How about what type of women she is 🤔?”

Even “Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition” star Waka Flocka, inserted himself into the conversation, advising Samuels that he shouldn’t marry his woman for any other reason than love.

“Should never be why u love her it’s about people recognizing ya’ll make each other up 🤞 #iKnowthefreling me brada 💯,” Waka wrote.

Samuels did not respond to the “Hard In Da Paint” rapper.

Samuels and Mena first starred on MTV’s “Scared Famous” together in 2017, which is around the time the “LHHNY” star claims he first began having feelings for his now-fiancée. Despite fans questioning Samuels’ reasoning for asking for the model’s hand in marriage, he’s confessed that he’s genuinely in love with her.

“When we did ‘Scared Famous’ I use to say so many things jokingly not knowing it would become real life,” the Jamaican native wrote earlier this year in an IG post. “I am so in love with you. The respect you give me, the way you uplift me and make me feel like a man is something people wouldn’t believe. I get to be with the real you and I love every second of it.”

The couple have supposedly set the date for the wedding but have yet to announce it on social media. The pair got engaged on Christmas Eve when Samuels proposed to her at her Atlanta home.
