Duckie Thot’s break up with Kofi Siriboe has turned ugly as she has broken her silence on their apparent split.
News of the attractive duo’s break up emerged as the new year was about to began when the “Queen Sugar” actor tweeted, “maybe my wife will reveal herself to me this year. maybe i’ll become the man i’ve always wanted to be” on New Year’s Eve.

In an apparent stream of consciousness thread on Twitter, he also said, “maybe i won’t let sex distract me this year” and “maybe you’ll realize you always loved me this year. maybe i’ll tell you i’ve always loved you.”
About an hour later, Thot, whose given name is Nyadak Thot, posted her own tweet confirming the pair had called it quits. Except she did so in a much-less poetic fashion.
“leaving all trash n—-s in 2018,” she tweeted.
The Fenty Beauty model’s memo has since been deleted while her actor ex-boyfriend’s string of messages remains.
The headline-making split rocked fans who questioned just how sour the relationship had gotten and hoped it wasn’t true.
“Kofi was that bad?”
“What happened to Duckie thot? Y’all are tew cute together.”
“I hope you aren’t talking about @kofi.”
“Duckie dumped Kofi?? It seems deserving, look at how he’s talking about ‘maybe I’ll become the man I’ve always wanted to be’ nigga, untrash yourself first.”
The “Girls Trip” actor and the “Australia’s Next Top Model” alum went public with their relationship when Siriboe professed his love for her on International Women’s Day last March.
“My love, you blossom like the flowers do; you keep growing,” he wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post. “I love watching you. You remind me of sunrise every morning — just a glance in your direction transmutes the darkest day to light. no man should be lucky enough to love you. all queens, everywhere, happy #internationalwomensday.”
The post came five months after the two were seen together at V Magazine’s dinner in honor of German designer Karl Lagerfeld. Thot had posted a photo of the pair at the event on her Instagram account. Since then, that photo has also been deleted.
Before Thot and Siriboe got together, the latter was linked to “Insecure” star and co-creator Issa Rae. Although she acknowledged the actor is “fine” during a stop on “The Breakfast Club” radio morning show in 2017, she made it clear there was “no secret dating what so ever.”
Thot was not previously linked to other love interests before her relationship with Siriboe gained traction.
