Supermodel Naomi Campbell rocked her natural coils for New York Fashion Week and looked absolutely beautiful. Campbell often sports her middle-parted waist-length tresses, but this time she opted for a more edgy look. The 48-year-old attended Calvin Klein’s runway show with her natural curls pinned up into a ‘fro Mohawk. She also wore a natural face with minimal makeup and a nude brown lip.
Campbell’s new mid-length style had fans gushing, and they noted just how “stunning” she looked at NYFW.
“Everything!!! The hair was exquisite,” said one fan.
Another fan wrote, “Auntie Naomi with the natural hair out. I’m deceased!”
“See how your natural hair makes you look 30 years younger,” expressed an Instagram user.
Social media called Campbell a “cultural innovator” and told over the star to don her “natural curls” more often.
The “Empire” actress spoke out last year about managing her natural hair after suffering from years of hair loss. She said wearing weaves, braids and other styles contributed to her having alopecia and created bald patches in her hair.
“I do take more care of my hair now because I lost all of it with extensions,” Campbell told Evening Standard Magazine during an interview. “I am more careful and I do different things. … Everybody in the world wears wigs. It doesn’t matter anymore. I do what I want, or whatever the job calls for.”
