VH1 reality star Van Johnson was back to his aggressive ways Wednesday night’s episode of “Black Ink Crew: Chicago.”
The former “9 MAG” crew threw a party for the grand opening of their new tattoo shop “Loyal Ink.” The shop’s assistant Charmaine Walker hired a male stripper to start the party off with a bang. The man walked in and began stripping down to his pants. Johnson was weary of the stripper’s appearance and thought it was one of Ryan Henry‘s plan to sabotage the crew’s new shop. Before the stripper could finish his job, the 34-year-old tackled the man like a WWE wrestler.
Twitter users lit Johnson on fire and began straight flaming the “Black Ink” star.
“Van wants so bad to be in the NFL🤷🏽♀️,” one person said.
“Lmaoo Van speared tf out of that stripper, “another added.
“Did Van Institutionalized, paranoid ass just attack the stripper?”
“How u let Van wide back ass attack u down like that?😂”
“I really cried dying laughing for 10 mins straight when Van tackled that man lmao 😭,” another wrote.
Johnson is known for his anger issues on the reality show. He and his girlfriend Jennifer recently had a big blow up with one another after he accused her of cheating. She was caught hanging out with a Chicago Bear’s football player and Johnson caught word of the rumor. He began screaming and then stormed outside and started kicking her Audi. He’s also had multiple confrontations with cast-members on the show.
The tattoo artist also had a beef with long-time friend Henry, who recently decided to open his own shop. He felt the “9MAG” owner broke up the crew’s bond and turned his back on them. However, Johnson rose above the drama and made it clear on Instagram that there’s no longer any beef between the two old friends.
“I DO NOT HAVE BAD BLOOD WITH RYAN HIS FAMILY OR FRIENDS BECAUSE WHEN I SEE THEM THEY SHAKE MY HAND BECAUSE OF RESPECT,” he exclaimed.
