T.I. Launches Own Show After Canceling ‘The Family Hustle’

Many fans were disappointed to hear about “The Family Hustle” being canceled, but T.I. recently announced on Instagram the premiere date for his new television show “The Grand Hustle.”

The rapper collaborated with BET for the creation of the business competition show. The show is his version of President Trump’s the “Apprentice”. There will be 16 entrepreneurs competing for an opportunity to work for his “Grand Hustle” empire.

T.I. also partnered up with former “Apprentice” producer Johnny Petillo and said there’s a big difference between his and Trump’s show.

“A much better host,” the ‘ATL’ actor joked with Yahoo. “My hands are not tiny.”

The “King” artist developed the idea “from the dire need of adding more hands on deck.”

He continued, “Because I work so hard, I demand the same from the team. They had an intervention with me, and was like, ‘Yo, we need help’… I was like, ‘Now this is a TV show.'”

When T.I. announced the airing of his show on Tuesday afternoon, fans were extremely excited.

“I’m definitely feeling Grand Hustle👑,” one IG follower said.

“Can’t wait to see the show…yesss,” another added.

“Sirrrr, let the city know you’re about to shut it down with this one! I’m supporting any & every day,” a fan wrote.

T.I. and his wife Tiny Harris canceled their VH1 show “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” in March. The final episode which featured the couple’s lives with their 7 children ended in April. Viewers were very disappointed because it was a reality show that portrayed a wealthy Black family in a positive light.

The VH1 show’s final episode came after the rapper’s infidelity with urban model Bernice Burgos. He and Tiny were in the middle of their pending divorce during the airing of the show and were “working together to figure out their new normal.”

“The Grand Hustle” will be T.I.’s third reality show and comes after “T.I.’s Road to Redemption (MTV)” and “T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle.” It’s set to premiere July 19 at 10 p.m.
