New Edition’s Mike Bivins Soaks Up Pool Time with Daughters Months Before Going on Tour with RBRM

New Edition member Mike Bivins had a blast with family after the holiday last week and snapped a photo to commemorate some fun pool time with his kids.

“Sporty Thursday Quote: #bivfam #SBCrew4 Sanaah #lilsupremes #summer #MLB50th!!! God bless Daddy…….” he captioned the post of him with older daughters Star, Savi and Shi.

The image, which was also posted on Bell Biv DeVoe’s official Instagram page, has fans gushing over the cute moment between a father and his daughters.

“Priceless moment💕💕.”

“Beautiful daddy and daughters!”

“You have a beautiful family much love. Bell Biv DeVoe forever.”

“@617mikebiv, beautiful! Looks like fun, I’m jealous 😄😍 ENJOY!💕”

“Love It! Family is always first! Trust me they will cherish the quality time spent with them!”

And the girls haven’t just been soaking up some pool time with their dad. Another post on Bivin’s page two days later showed the BBD performer’s kids’ wearing water gear as they posed with their friends.

“When my kids and their friends are happy @teashabivins and Daddy are happy #summer #pool #bivfam #lilsupremes #MLB50th God Bless Sporty,” he put in the caption.

The follow-up image also was met with support from fans.

“Awwww such a beautiful picture.”

“As a [sic] NE fan, it’s wonderful to see your beautiful family. Thanks for sharing with the rest of us!!!”

“Your girls have your smile….”

“Love it! Family Matters!! Blessings!!”

While Bivins has been soaking up family time as of late, he plans to go back on the road with fellow New Edition members Ronnie Devoe, Bobby Brown and Ricky Bell as RBRM after the group performed in Atlanta and Detroit earlier this summer.

“It’s very explosive for concert goers,” Bivins promised Rolling Stone of the September concerts.

Brown explained scheduling conflicts — Ralph Tresvant has a radio show and Johnny Gill has already been touring — meant New Edition as a whole couldn’t hit the road after their BET miniseries, “The New Edition Story,” aired in 2017.

“We still have to keep the calendars going, stay consistent in the touring marketplace – that’s basically our main area of work for the last 10 or 15 years,” Bivins said. “Bobby was going out, so we said, maybe if we can’t do the whole group, we’ll just go out together. We’ll keep that same New Edition synergy.”
