You’ve heard the saying “a picture is worth a thousand words,” but this one is worth a million. According to Buzzfeed, wedding photographer Paul Woo captured 6-year-old Bryson Suber sobbing tears of joy during his parent’s wedding. As the bride began walking down the aisle, Woo captured Bryson leaning forward as if to get a better look at his mom on her big day.
“As everyone stood up and waited for the bride to come down the aisle, he started expressing so much emotion,” said Woo in an interview with Buzzfeed.
Bryson couldn’t hold back the tears as he watched his mother walk down the aisle in her wedding gown. “I was solo shooting this wedding and this moment was difficult because I was secretly bawling behind the camera and had to prioritize this moment over the bride coming down the aisle.”
As a pro, Woo was able to capture both moments. “Yes, I got both, but I knew this was the moment,” said Woo. Bryson’s mother Tearra told the publication,
“To see him share such strong emotions of joy and happiness for the union of his parents was seriously one of the most powerful moments I’ve experienced to date!”
Although the feelings of admiration towards his parents had him needing a tissue, Bryson was able to hold it together for the remaining of the ceremony. He was all smiles to see his parents joined in matrimony.
