World-renowned singer/songwriter Chaka Khan announced today that she will join the David Foster and Friends Tour, set to kick off in European and Asia this month.
In addition to embarking on the 16-show international tour alongside super-producer David Foster, the 10-time Grammy Award-winning singer is busy putting the final touches on her forthcoming gospel and jazz project.
“Being in the studio makes me very happy,” Khan said in a press statement. “I am so excited about the new music and the direction on this project. We are having a super great time on tour and the opportunity to connect with my fans is one of the greatest gifts ever.”
Khan’s not-yet-titled gospel and jazz project is tentatively scheduled for a 2013 release.
