The head of the LaGrange, Georgia Housing Authority was approached by four young Black teens looking for jobs and instantly gave them an opportunity to work in late July.
According to Atlanta’s 11 Alive, LaGrange Housing Authority head, Zsa Zsa Heard, hired four teens— Dylik, Dennis, Deion and Jalen— on the spot on July 27.
The four young men wanted jobs to avoid being recruited by local gangs, and Heard quickly understood their plight.
Last week, the woman took to Facebook to share their story. Now, the young men work in the garden and make deliveries.
