Legendary duo Outkast are officially back together and have been performing across the United States. Now, Big Boi and Andre 3000 look to take their show back to where it all began: their hometown of Atlanta.
According to the group’s press team:
“Hip-hop duo Outkast, comprised of Antwan ‘Big Boi’ Patton and Andre ‘3000’ Benjamin, have announced a hometown Atlanta performance celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut. The group made waves this summer as the headline act at Coachella and various other music festivals around the world, and will continue the celebration in the city where they got their start.
“The one-day concert festival, titled ‘Outkast: ATLast,’ will feature an extended headlining set from Outkast with special guests.” The concert will take place at Centennial Olympic Park in Downtown Atlanta on Sept. 27. Other performers will be announced in the coming weeks. The music is set to begin at 5 p.m.
Tickets will go on sale via radio and promoter presales at 10 a.m. Monday, then to the general public at 10 a.m. Wednesday, and can be found at outkast.com.
