Girl group Danity Kane may be working on a comeback, but that isn’t stopping Dawn Richard from still doing her solo thing. The Danity Kane singer released a new video for her songs “Riot’ and “Northern Lights” from her album Blackheart.
As reported by rap-up.com:
“One year after the release of her critically-acclaimed debut Goldenheart, Dawn Richard’s video for “Riot” and “Northern Lights” has surfaced online. The Danity Kane songstress shot the seven-and-a-half-minute visuals in May of last year, but it was put on the back burner after she parted ways with her production partner Druski.
“The video picks up where ‘’86′ [her previous singe] left off, and marks the second and third chapters in her visual choreography film. Dawn unleashes some fierce moves as she battles her opponents, dressed in her warrior princess garb.”
Danity Kane is also in the studio working on new music for their reported reunion. According to group member Aubrey O’Day:
“This time we wanted to come back on our own free will and mostly the music, we love making music. We’re in the studio right now [and] actually with Stereotypes, who did ‘Damaged.’ And we have a new song that we love called ‘Rage.’ So we’re really excited about that.”
