‘Bones’ Season 9 Episode 5: ‘The Lady on the List’

Bones

On this week’s “Bones” season 9 episode 5 “The Lady on the List,” the Jeffersonian team investigates the murder of Charlie McCord, a high school principal who, upon learning he had terminal cancer, created a website where people could go and pay for his inspirational videos. When the team finds a suspicious video of Charlie punching former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck Liddell (guest-starring as himself) in the face, it leads the team to Charlie’s bucket list, which ultimately helps them get closer to solving the case. Meanwhile, Brennan and Booth finally start to plan their wedding and Sweets could be replaced by a virtual profiling system.

“Bones” is an American crime comedy-drama television series currently in its eighth season, that premiered on the Fox network in the United States on September 13, 2005. The show is based on real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs’ Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel), with each episode focusing on an FBI case file concerning the mystery behind human remains brought by FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz). When the standard methods of identifying a body are useless – when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed –  law enforcement calls on Brennan ‘Bones’ for her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the victim’s bones. While most people can’t handle Brennan’s intelligence, her drive for the truth or the way she flings herself headlong into every investigation is an exception.

“Bones” season 9, episode 5 “The Lady on the List,” airs Monday, October 14, 8:00PM ET on Fox. Bones spoiler video below:
