Kevin Hart is heading to ABC to work on an untitled, multi camera comedy based on his life and highly successful stand-up comedy shows.
The comedy will give audiences a candid look at the life of a couple after divorce, as they try to rebuild their relationship as friends, for the sake of their children. The pilot script will be written by Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan who will also serve as executive producers, while Hart and 20th Century Fox TV will be producing.
Hart is not expected to star in the comedy, but will likely take on a recurring role if the show gets picked up to series.
Hart has been in high demand for a comedy series since the huge success of “Think Like A Man” and his comedy tours that have sold out arenas worldwide: most recently, “Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain” grossed over $32 million.
Hart is currently shooting his BET show “Real Husbands Of Hollywood,” which returns October 15, at 10/9c .
