‘Fruitvale Station’ was such a booming success at the box office last weekend, audiences from all over the country will now be able to watch the docu-drama as it expands into more theaters this weekend.
Last week the film opened in six cities, five in California and one in New York. Beginning on Friday, July 19, the film, which tells the story of Oscar Grant, a 22-year-old unarmed Oakland man who was fatally shot by a transit cop in the early morning hours of New Year’s Day 2009, will expand into 18 New cities.
Check below to see if your city is on the list? If not, worry not because the film expands to theaters nationwide, the following weekend, beginning on Friday, July 26.
