Bernice King Reaction to Zimmerman Verdict: ‘We are not in a Post-Racial Society’


Bernice King, the daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., speaks to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer about race and justice after George Zimmerman is found not guilty in the fatal shooting of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin.

King noted that Aug. 28, 2013, will be the 50th anniversary of her father’s “I Have a Dream” speech, which he delivered on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial during the “March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom,” but  we have yet to realize that dream.
