The independent movie being produced about the late Steve Jobs has landed another big gun. The biopic, which already features Ashton Kutcher playing the young Jobs, has recently cast Ahna O’Reilly as the female lead.
The film is based on the information retrieved from extensive research, including interviews with family, friends, coworkers and mentors. The independent production team and writers are mainly centering the movie on what they describe as “the 30 most defining years of Jobs’ life”. They believe that with the information received, it will create a dark, honest, and uncompromising film.
Ahna O’Reilly has been tapped to play Brennan, Jobs’ first girlfriend who was a Bay Area painter. O’Reilly’s character will get plenty of airtime since her relationship with Jobs will be featured fairly prominently in the story.
In the past, O’Reilly has been seen in movies such as Forgetting Sarah Marshall and The Help.
Filming for the Jobs’ project is slated to soon kick off in the same garage where Jobs and Steve Wozniak started Apple a long time ago.
