A white driver in Maryland got so angry over a tight parking spot that he directed his rage at a Black woman, calling her a slur, dousing her car in coffee, and screaming she belonged in a “zoo.”
After calling her the n-word and a “f*****g piece of sh*t,” he sped off in his Toyota Tacoma, but not before she captured his license plate on video.
She also reported that he spat on her car prior to filming.
His outburst was first posted on August 30 and has been making the rounds online, with viewers calling it a “hate crime” and working behind the scenes to track down the man’s identity.
According to the popular X account “Suzie Rizzio,” local police have already filed charges against the driver. However, that claim remains unverified by law enforcement, and authorities have not indicated what specific charges he might face.
A handful of skeptics have shown up in the comments section on several social media sites to ask what led up to the coffee attack. The vast majority of commenters immediately answered back: does it matter?
No parking dispute, however frustrating, justifies that level of rage.
Commenters on Atlanta Black Star’s official Instagram didn’t hold back. One speculated, “That’s assault. She did the right thing recording it,” though legally, coffee-throwing may be classified as vandalism or property damage unless it made contact with her directly.
Others predicted costly consequences: “He still hasn’t learned racism is expensive!” Another pointed to the mounting evidence against him: “Sooo…he was filmed, got his license plate, and his DNA??!!… Lol! Oh, this should be easy.”
For now, it seems the internet has appointed itself judge and jury, and it isn’t planning on dropping the case anytime soon.
