Even Trump’s hair has entered another era, although this latest chapter appears to be missing a few strands.
Trump showed up in the Oval Office with another bronzed look after weeks of chatter about his changed appearance.
One person who noticed his golden mane asked, “Whose hair is Trump wearing today?”
The look is very different from images taken over the final weekend of August. During his downtime, the president returned to one of his favorite places.
Trump spent Saturday and Sunday at Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia. Golfing is one of his preferred ways to relax.
However, cameras did not catch Trump working on his swing this time.
Photos showed him relaxing inside the country club’s restaurant with several people, including his executive assistant, Natalie Harp.
Some viewers focused on the company he was keeping. Others noticed Trump wasn’t wearing his signature red “Make America Great Again” hat.
Social media photos showed Harp seated near Trump at several tables inside the club.
He wore a white polo and black pants and covered his head with a white hat bearing his name in red letters outlined in yellow.

Once that hat came off, viewers began inspecting the president’s thinning crown and uneven comb-over.
Critics on Threads wasted little time questioning how Trump’s supporters might explain the unfiltered pictures.
“Of all the people, MAGA, this is your guy? Such an alpha,” one person wrote, another said, “Look at that.”
Another viewer reached for a horror movie comparison. “He looks like the old grandfather from chainsaw massacre,” the person declared. Someone else said the president was “aging like fungus on a log.”
The uncovered angle quickly became the weekend’s other main attraction.
Several critics became convinced that an important part of the president’s usual appearance was absent. “He forgot his wig!” one person wrote.
Another added, “Looks like he’s ready for the nursing home.”
The commentary only became harsher as the photos circulated. Someone else joked, “Must have been laundry day for his wig.”
One person delivered the longest review of Trump’s uncovered look.
“It won’t be long now. He’s aging like bread. Can’t even fake the comb over anymore. The wig he had on the other day was the funniest thing I’ve ever seen,” the critic wrote.
Claims that Trump wears a wig remain unproven. The president has repeatedly maintained that his famous hair is real.
He even allowed Jimmy Fallon to tousle it during a 2016 appearance on “The Tonight Show.” The stunt was meant to settle the matter before millions of viewers.
Trump’s former physician, Dr. Harold Bornstein, also said in 2017 that the hair was real. However, Bornstein revealed that Trump took finasteride. The medication is commonly prescribed to combat male-pattern hair loss.
The Virginia photographs became the latest addition to a monthlong online investigation into Trump’s changing appearance.
In early August, wind pushed back his hair and exposed a large section of his scalp. Three days later, he appeared at an event in Las Vegas with darker and noticeably fuller hair.
That transformation quickly became its own spectacle. Viewers questioned whether Trump had changed his hair color or experimented with a new styling product. The extra volume disappeared shortly afterward. It returned days later before vanishing beneath a hat during an Aug. 9 golf event.
An Aug. 11 video created another problem. Cameras recorded Trump walking toward Marine One from behind. The angle exposed a lighter patch near the crown of his head.

Trump later debuted an exaggerated side part during an Aug. 24 White House appearance and the Freedom 250 Grand Prix on the National Mall.
The new version swept across his forehead but appeared thin on one side. Critics questioned whether the styling experiment looked worse than his usual comb-over.
Former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt previously dismissed speculation about Trump’s fuller Las Vegas appearance.
Leavitt reportedly blamed the dramatic difference on stage lighting. That lighting has apparently been working overtime and changing shifts without notice.
Trump added more fuel to the conversation during an Aug. 14 speech in Garden City, New York. While complaining about products being locked behind glass in stores, he mentioned hair treatments that could make someone look as if they had “4 percent more” hair.
The unusually precise figure raised eyebrows. It also suggested that the president might know his way around the volumizing aisle.
Whatever happened inside the Virginia clubhouse, the photographs gave viewers another unfiltered look at the man beneath the hat. Trump may have gone to Sterling to relax, raise money and possibly squeeze in a round of golf. Instead, his uncovered crown became the weekend’s most closely examined course.
