‘Is She Hiding?’: Natalie Harp Tried to Sneak Off Trump’s Helicopter Without Being Seen, But Cameras Caught Her Quick Dash Across the Tarmac

Natalie Harp has become so recognizable beside President Donald Trump that even her attempts to disappear are getting attention.

Trump’s 35-year-old executive assistant is rarely far from the president.

Harp carries his phone, delivers paperwork, and reportedly helps manage his Truth Social account. At this point, she may be closer to Trump than the password to his phone.

However, Harp seems determined to avoid the spotlight amid recent rumors.

She deplaned Marine One with Trump at Joint Base Andrews on Aug. 27. The pair then prepared to fly to Houston for a Republican fundraiser supporting Texas Senate candidate Ken Paxton.

‘No Way’: Melania Leaves Trump for a Moment, Then Natalie Harp Makes a Bold Move as Their Paths Finally Cross

Video shared on Threads shows the president walking across the tarmac with a military officer.

Suddenly, Harp appeared, trailing behind both men in a long green dress that stopped just before her ankles.

Instead of assuming her usual position nearby, she moved toward the far left side and seemingly attempted to escape the camera’s frame.

The internet found her anyway.

“Is she hiding from the cameras?,” one person asked. Another person also insisted, “She is trying to stay out of the camera shots but is failing.”

The speculation only grew from there, as many suspects said, “She absolutely timed her walk to be in this shot.” Others picked up on her hurried pace, noticing, “She’s almost breaking into a run.”

Harp often carries heavy bags of equipment, acting as Trump’s mobile office and handler for social media and printed news. “Seriously! What is in that bag!?” asked one inquisitive person.

“I’m assuming Melania hightailed it back to Florida. I’m actually embarrassed for Natalie to be that needy as a grown woman,” one user added.

That Melania Trump reference was not random. During the Freedom 250 Grand Prix on Aug. 23, cameras captured Trump signaling for Harp to approach him.

First lady abruptly stepped away from her seat in the stands. That’s when Harp made her usual response to Trump’s signal to bring him a phone.

When Melania returned, Harp was out of sight again. But the timing gave social media enough material to open a full detective agency.

Harp reportedly helps draft and publish Trump’s social media posts.

The Wall Street Journal identified her as the aide who posted a racist video depicting former President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama as apes. It appeared on Trump’s account in February and was deleted after bipartisan outrage.

Trump said he watched the beginning but missed the offensive portion. The White House initially blamed an unnamed staffer. Apparently, presidential social media management includes posting, deleting and hoping nobody took screenshots.

Besides her shadowing the president and sending out bigoted posts that leave people looking at her sideways, Harp appears to have an “unhealthy obsession” with Trump by responding to his every beck and call.

Preston Harp blasted his sister in an interview, claiming she used to write Trump and other presidents’ personal letters with doting messages.

He was also asked about a CNN report that Harp once climbed into the trunk of an SUV in Trump’s motorcade after being told there were no seats left.

“It’s actually kind of sad,” said Preston. “That’s obsession. That’s, like, an unhealthy obsession with someone, if you’re going to jump into the trunk of their car.”

Her access has raised serious questions beyond her camera-dodging routine.

She reportedly worked in the White House for more than a year without completing a routine security clearance. Officials were concerned because she remained close to sensitive conversations. She eventually received clearance after Trump intervened.

The attention also seems to be testing Harp’s manners. On Aug. 19, a photographer filmed her driving through Washington. Harp allegedly recorded him with her phone before mouthing, “f—k you.”

For someone seemingly trying to avoid the spotlight, she certainly knows how to leave the cameras with a memorable closing line.
