President Donald Trump and Melania Trump tried to project a united front over the weekend.
But their latest public appearance fueled even more speculation about marital issues.
Melania, 56, avoided cameras for 32 days as another Trump scandal took over news headlines and social media timelines.
Meanwhile, the POTUS, 80, has provoked a political uproar involving one of his top aides.
The behind-the-scenes drama spilled into the global spotlight in recent weeks, as more attention has turned to Trump’s inner circle.
Natalie Harp, the 35-year-old special assistant to the president, became a national figure after reports of her obsession with Trump became internet meme fodder.
As the Harp gossip spread, Melania returned at a White House Rose Garden event on Aug. 20. She even mocked people questioning where she had been over the last month.
The first lady most recently appeared with the president at the Freedom 250 Grand Prix IndyCar race in Washington.
Melania and Trump sat together in the stands, while Harp sat just feet away.
The visual of Melania and Natalie in the same seating area set the rumor mill ablaze.
At one point, footage seemed to show Trump having a heated discussion with Melania.
While their conversation was inaudible, their body language suggested the pair were not on the same page.

Melania, arms crossed, leaned in to whisper in Trump’s ear. The two then had a lively back-and-forth exchange, prompting X users to weigh in on the viral clip.
“That arm cross is epic pissed-off wife s–t right there,” one person replied to the video.
Someone else sarcastically tweeted, “Natalie is right behind them. What could they possibly be arguing about?” A third poster declared, “She can’t stand him.”
At several points, Melania got up and left Trump sitting alone.
Before she exited the scene, the president tapped her lap and then stared into the distance for several seconds.

During another brief moment, Melania and Natalie crossed paths after the first lady stood up in the aisle and disappeared from view.
She seemed to exit the frame just as the woman known as Trump’s “human printer” entered it.

In the clip, Harp handed Trump a mobile device, which he showed to a man seated to his right.
The former OANN anchor remained standing over the president’s shoulder. Melania was nowhere to be found.
Trump married Melania, his third wife, in 2005. A cloud of controversy has hung over their 21-year marriage.
Whispers of infidelity and separate homes have followed the troubled first family for years.
Washington circles continue to discuss Melania’s apparent reluctance to appear publicly with the president. Talk of possible friction between the billionaire politician and the ex-model hit a fever pitch in September 2025.
