‘Body Shaming Is Ugly’: Aoki Lee Simmons Hits Back at Critics Who Say She Needs a Boob Job and Some ‘Thickness’

Aoki Lee Simmons is done letting haters criticize her body. The 21-year-old model recently hit back at social media users who attempted to flood her posts with comments intended to make her feel insecure about her modest bust size.

The Harvard alum shared photos of herself wearing a black jumpsuit with a plunging neckline that sent some tongues wagging and made others feel empowered to suggest she consider investing in cosmetic surgery. “Buy the boobs mama…no shame,” quipped one detractor.

Aoki peeped the comment and responded, “body shaming is ugly…mama” and “You are welcome to Venmo me for the boob job though I’ll spend it on more plunging shirts or whatever.” Other negative remarks have since been removed from the Oct. 20 post. In her Instagram Story though, the youngest daughter of Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons continued to address her haters.

Resharing the photo that drew criticism, she wrote, “Just for the body shamers in my comments do you think I would dress like this if I was worried about my bra size????? founding member of the itty bitty titty committee thank you very much.”

She followed up with another post wearing a tank top. She wrote, “Continuing to serve clavicle, sternum, and solar plexus (i won’t tag y’all TODAY tomorrow on the other hand…).” Just last month, Aoki clapped back at folks picking apart an image of her wearing shorts and a long-sleeved crop top while standing by a pole in Tokyo, Japan.

Body-shamers wrote that she was “really thin,” while other comments included, one person who said, “I know this is what they tell you a model is supposed to look like anorexic girl eats you some food get you some thickness on you.”

A second wrote, “Oh wow you too Skinny sweetie I’m sorry no Disrespects that doesn’t look Healthy.”

In an expired Instagram Story, she said that people had forgotten their manners, though she did find the humor in being compared to the cartoon character Olive Oyl. By now, users should be aware that Aoki is not afraid to speak her piece, not even when it involves airing her grievances about her father, Russell Simmons.

Aoki and her mother caused a media frenzy in June when they alleged the mogul was a perpetrator of emotional and financial abuse. Two months after facing scrutiny for speaking out about her alleged experiences, Aoki said she has no regrets, as some of their family drama had been playing out in front of the public for years.
