Nene Leakes is currently facing legal issues after a Georgia photographer claimed that the former reality star failed to pay them following their work at her club, The Linnethia Lounge.
According to Radar Online on Sept. 28, the company named Photography by Ace filed a lawsuit against Leakes and The Linnethia Lounge in Gwinnett County Court.
In the court documents, the company claimed they had contacted Leakes through email on various occasions to receive payment. Photography by Ace also said in the court documents that their attempts to contact Leakes have gone unanswered, and the 54-year-old is “no longer is communicating on this matter.”
The lawsuit also state that Leakes claimed that she and her club have never worked with the photographer despite Photography by Ace having “complete invoices that show otherwise.”
In the first invoice, which was addressed to Leakes for $500, the company listed they worked for the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Oct. 30-31, 2021. The work consisted of a brunch and a Falcon Halloween party. The second invoice occurred on Nov. 12 and 13, 2021, for $500.
Despite the news outlet obtaining the legal paperwork this month, the lawsuit was filed on July 7 and served to Leakes days later. The process server claimed that they met Leakes at her condo, which she purchased following the passing of her husband, Gregg Leakes.
That person said, “I delivered the documents to Linnethia Leakes with identity confirmed by subject saying yes when named. The individual accepted service with direct delivery.”
Since then, Leakes has yet to respond to the lawsuit and Photography by Ace’s claims.
This news regarding her latest legal drama comes a month after Leakes dismissed her lawsuit against Bravo, Andy Cohen, and “RHOA” production for allegedly creating “a hostile and racist work environment.”
Leakes starred in “RHOA” from 2008 until she left the show in 2020.
