Multi talented television talk show host Oprah Winfrey sent Emmy award-winner Sherly Lee Ralph a huge bouquet of flowers to congratulate her on winning her first Emmy for popular sitcom Abbott Elementary. Now, Winfrey was finally able to personally congratulate Ralph and discuss all of the 65-year-old actor’s success.
Both icons were in L.A when their paths crossed while being in attendance for Winfrey’s production about Bahamian actor Sidney Poitier entitled, “Sidney,” which is set to be released on Apple TV+.
Their interaction was captured on video where fans can see Winfrey and Ralph locking eyes. Not long after spotting one another, screams of adoration left the 68-year-old business woman’s mouth as the two ladies embraced in a hug.
During their conversation, Winfrey praised Ralph for her acceptance speech calling it an “incredible moment.”
“You really brought everything that you ever struggled for that you tried for, all of our feelings were right there with you.” Winfrey passionately stated as her voice began to croak and her eyes filled with tears.
As the two women shared a touching moment, an aggressive voice exited from the background of the video continuously asking Winfrey and Ralph for a photo. Even though it could’ve been distracting to some, Winfrey and Ralph continued their conversation and posed for a photo together after they were finished admiring one another.
An outpouring of love from fans quickly made its way around social media about the video, however, some fans couldn’t help but comment on the aggressive photographer who kept asking the two ladies for a photo, to which they did not carry out until they felt finished with their initial interaction.

Although some fans were not in favor of the photographer’s demanding tone, other comments solely focused on how important this interaction made them feel.
While many were completely in awe of Winfrey and Ralph’s touching moment,
