Ashanti‘s recent post about “transparency” takes a turn after fans point out a slight mishap the singer failed to recognize before sharing the images.
In the Instagram upload, Ashanti, who wore a colorful cutout dress with white heels, was seen posing on a rooftop as she stayed at the NoMo SoHo hotel in New York.
In the photos, the 41-year-old gave fans a front and side view of her toned physique as she showed off the dress. Although details surrounding Ashanti’s stay in New York are unclear, the “Foolish” vocalist expressed in the caption the importance of being transparent.
She wrote, “Transparency is key.” As fans viewed the post, several people immediately focused on the “Coach Carter” star’s shoes among the compliments, with many pointing out that Ashanti’s heels were too small after seeing her feet touch the ground.

This post comes weeks after Ashanti sent out a message to people she considers trash. In the Instagram upload, the “Baby” songstress shared a modeling video accompanied by an unreleased track. Alongside the clip, Ashanti wrote the caption, “Sometimes ya gotta leave the trash behind…”
Although it was unclear who Ashanti was referring to in the post, many assumed it was Irv Gotti because of the Murder Inc co-founder’s recent remarks about the pair’s alleged relationship.
