Former reality star Nene Leakes reportedly has dismissed a lawsuit she filed in April 2022 against Bravo, Andy Cohen and “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” production, alleging they “created a hostile and racist work environment.”
PEOPLE Magazine recently acquired court documents that confirmed the businesswoman “dismisses this action and all claims asserted by Leakes without prejudice.”
The lawsuit supposedly read, “NBC, Bravo, and True foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated – if not, encouraged.”
U.S. Sun Magazine reported that everyone involved “consent and stipulate to the foregoing dismissal. No party will seek recovery of costs or attorneys’ fees in any submission to this Court.”
According to PEOPLE, “Leakes can resurface this case down the road if she chooses.”
The news of Leakes unexpectedly dismissing her case made fans on Twitter question if a settlement had been reached between Leakes and Bravo.
“If you think Nene Leakes dropped that lawsuit without anything, then y’all the same ones believing Trump is still president.”
“Nene Leakes finna get a nice fat check”
The Neighborhood Talk also shared the news on its Instagram page, where fans not only expressed their lack-of-surprise reaction to the settlement, but also suggested the reality star’s ultimate return to the Bravo network.
“They bout to put her back on the show”
“She’s all about her bag so this wouldn’t surprise me. Good for her. The drama does not need to follow into Fall 2022. Leave it behind.”
“They came to a nice money agreement. Hope she’s coming back to the show as a part of the agreement!”
