Ashanti has been the topic of conversation recently for several reasons.
The topics getting some attention include her ageless beauty and the 41-year-old’s ability to remain unfazed by any controversy surrounding Murder Inc’s co-founder Irv Gotti. Gotti made headlines earlier this month after opening up during an episode of “Drink Champs” about his alleged relationship with Ashanti while he was still married.
At the same time, Gotti disclosed that their alleged union ended after the singer broke his heart by dating Nelly. Following Gotti’s interview, Ashanti didn’t respond to any of the accusations until Aug. 21, at least from the fans’ standpoint, when she posted a message to individuals she considered to be trash.
In the Instagram video, Ashanti, who wore a metal mesh wrapped dress by Fannie Schiavoni and silver heels, was seen strutting for the camera as she left Fat Joe’s birthday party in New York.
Ashanti was modeling on the streets of New York as she shared a snippet of an unreleased track. The lyrics said, “I bet you think I never find another, think I’ll lay around crying about you. I bet you think I would sit around while you run around trying to find you. I bet you. I bet you wish you had a chance to play with my heart again.”
In addition to the clip, Ashanti wrote the caption, “Sometimes ya gotta leave the trash behind…” Although the “Happy” vocalist didn’t disclose who she was talking about in the upload, fans immediately assumed she was throwing shots at Gotti as the recording circulated online.

Among the previous responses, others, who were captivated by Ashanti’s physical appearance, brought up that they understand why Gotti continues to talk about the singer even though their alleged relationship occurred over 20 years ago.
One wrote, “Whew Chile, I see why HE still PRESSED.” Another said, “I see why Irv loosing his mind.” A third social media user posted, “Do y’all see why Irv is pressed?! Look at the material!!!”
