‘Nope, I’m The Opposite’: Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Reveals Whether or Not He Showers Every Day After Other Celebs Say That They Don’t

Actor and ex-professional wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is letting it be known that he is not like his fellow celebrities that have recently claimed they don’t shower daily.

After a few celebrities admitted that their hygiene routine does not consist of daily showers, the internet went into an uproar over the subject.

One person even hilariously tweeted on Friday, Aug. 6, that she and her other coworkers were discussing the bathing topic and they’ve “all decided that @TheRock can’t possibly be one of those stinky ones and [they] would all be weirdly heartbroken to find out otherwise.” Johnson not only confirmed his fans’ thoughts, but also revealed that he actually showers multiple times a day.

He responded, “Nope, I’m the opposite of a “not washing themselves” celeb. Shower (cold) when I roll outta bed to get my day rollin’. Shower (warm) after my workout before work.
Shower (hot) after I get home from work. Face wash, body wash, exfoliate and I sing (off key) in the shower.”

Podcast host Gianmarco Soresi screenshotted Johnson’s tweet and said, “This is…weirder than not showering?” Johnson responded, “Nothing weird about this, my friend. I workout twice a day and then I go to work for 12+ hours. I shower 3xs. Easy to understand.”

Last month, celebrity couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher confessed on Dax Shepard’s “Armchair Expert” podcast that they do not see the necessity to bathe themselves or their children every day.

In a separate interview with “The View,” Shepard sat down with his wife Kirsten Bell, where they dove a little deeper into their shower routine with their children Lincoln, 8, and Delta, 6. They shared that “five or six” days would go by without their kids showering and that they usually don’t smell. Bell said but “once you catch a whiff, that’s biology’s way of letting you know you need to clean it up.”

Last week, in no relation to Kunis and Kutcher’s comments, actor Jake Gyllenhaal revealed he too finds “bathing to be less necessary, at times.”

Well, to each his own.
