Kandi Burruss is going way back to reflect on some old memories she shares with new “Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member Drew Sidora. On Saturday, March 6, she uploaded three photos of herself posing next to Sidora on the red carpet premiere of the TLC movie “Crazy Sexy Cool: The TLC Story,” which Sidora starred in as T-Boz.
In the first photo, it was just Burruss and Sidora standing together. In the next one Lil Mama, who played Left-Eye in the TLC film, and producer-songwriter Questlove joined Sidora in the photo, and it looks like Burruss photobombed them. In the final photo, Burruss and Sidora smiled next to “Martin” actor Carl Payne, Burruss’ daughter Riley Burruss, and her husband Todd Tucker’s daughter Kaela Tucker.
She captioned it, “I just found a great #FBF with @drewsidora!!! This was a great night at the premiere of the #TLC movie in 2013. Who would’ve ever thought our paths would cross again all these years later!”
Sidora excitedly commented back under the photo. She said, “Omg!!!! I looooove!!!! We were really MTB!!! 😂 Thanks for the love🥰,” to which Burruss responded, “❤️ I always told everybody we had met before but I didn’t even realize I had this pic from the night I met you.”
Fans were shocked, not necessarily by the photo, but instead by how long ago it was that the 2013 movie came out. One person said, “Wait the TLC movie was 8yrs ago??? How???? Where did the time go.” Another fan commented, “Oh that’s where I’ve seen her face before. Oh wow.”
Other people were not happy about the former Xscape member showing any type of love toward Sidora, since her friend and “RHOA” cast mate Kenya Moore and Sidora still do not get along. One fan mentioned to Burruss that “the way Kenya rides for u I sometimes don’t see u doing same …”
When a sneak peek of the March 7 episode dropped on Saturday, and Moore and Sidora have dinner to try to hash out their issues, but their attempt seems to fail.
