After a month of online chatter, a mysterious Chanel bag, and a cryptic remark during an Instagram Live session, it appears as though Megan and rapper Pardison Fontaine are Instagram official.
On Friday, Feb. 19, during a Livestream session, the “WAP” emcee, blushing from cheek to cheek, confirmed that she’s “really likes” the “Backing’ It Up” rapper.
“Yeah, he my boyfriend,” Megan said while revealing details about the romantic excursions. “He too fine and he big, I like that. We was in the bed, and I was like, let’s take a break. Let’s revisit this…But no, he is so perfect.” In the comment section, Pardi confirmed their relationship as well, writing, “❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ thats my baby.
The couple also spent Valentine’s Day together. Taking to his Instagram, Pardi shared several photos from the special day, including a scene of a jet filled with roses and a unique “Pardi with a Hottie” lunch date prepared by a private chef. In one of the snaps, Megan is seen on a bed covered with roses.
Meg also shared a photo from their romantic date on her IG Story. “Still not over it,” she wrote.
Views on the budding romance were mixed. While many people were happy for the two, some, on the other hand, will need some extra time getting over the loss, including one Twitter user who jokingly wrote, “Guys Pardison is dating Megan I am not okay 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭.”
Another person commented, “Pardison is a fine, talented, strong, dark chocolate MAN. I’m jealous asf. I hope Megan can fight.”
A third fan expressed how happy they were for the female emcee, saying, “I don’t know who Pardison Fontaine is, but to see Megan Thee Stallion blushing & giggling made me smile.” They added, “I’m happy that after what she’s been through the past year or so, she’s in a place of peace and finding what and/or makes her happy. As mentioned earlier, rumors sparked that the two were dating after Megan shared shots of a Chanel purse she was gifted around the same time Pardi was seen leaving a Chanel store with bags in his hands. The rapper was also rocking a mask from Megan’s Fashion Nova collection.
No official word on how long they’ve been dating, but prior to Pardi, Megan had been linked to rapper Moneybagg Yo and allegedly Tory Lanez, although she did not confirm that herself. The Canadian rapper claimed the two were an item following the now-infamous shooting incident.
