‘I Thought She Was Porsha Williams’: Drew Sidora’s Beauty Post Takes a Turn When Fans Mistake Her for ‘RHOA’ Co-Star Porsha

Drew Sidora came through serving a bomb glam look recently, but it all derailed after fans quickly pointed out that she resembled a certain cast mate.

On Wednesday, Jan. 27, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star took to her Instagram page, where she uploaded a fierce photo of herself rocking a forest green puffy arm jacket with a white top underneath and tan pants, posing with her hand on her waist.

Her hair was styled with blond highlights with a part down the middle, creating a red-carpet-ready glam look.

In her caption, the reality star thanked Claudia Jordan for having her and fellow “RHOA” cast mate Cynthia Bailey on her show along with her glam squad. Fans showered Drew with compliments on how amazing she looked, including one person who wrote, “Now THIS face, hair and YOU are beat!” They added, “Let’s get into all of Drew, ok?🔥😍.”

However, it wasn’t long before fans started pointing out how she looked a lot like Porsha Williams. Ironically enough, Porsha commented on the snap, writing, “🔥🔥🔥This beat and your beauty.”

Fans responded to her comment, with one saying, “From this pic, looks like y’all could be sisters!! 🖤👑🖤.” Another fan commented, “I thought she was Porsha Williams…But You Fine❤️🔥.” “Why do I see a mix of Porsha & Beyoncé right here? Stunning 💙😍,” a third expressed.

Meanwhile, the adoration continued, with supporters saying things like, “Ok now this is a look Drew‼️‼️👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾,” and “Tuh!!! Baby don’t talk down on Drew hunnie!! She slays EVERYTIME!!!”

Recently, Drew had the timelines jumping when she uploaded a risqué bathroom photo of her undressed husband, Ralph Pittman. Ralph stood in the background obscured below the waist behind the actress’s shoulders. The steamy snap was inspired by Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade, who also shared a similar photo that had since gone viral in honor of Dwayne’s 39th birthday.

In the caption, Drew let it be known that Ralph was all hers. Fans jokingly teased the singer about being careful, given that Kenya Moore had already spoken on Ralph’s good looks, calling him a “cute guy” during a recent episode of the show.

Democracy needs journalism it can trust.

This election season, the stakes are higher than usual — and so is the pressure on newsrooms to soften their coverage, stay quiet, or just disappear. Independent reporting, the kind that answers to readers instead of advertisers or political pressure, matters more in a moment like this, not less.

For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed independent and reader-funded. We have no corporate owner and no shareholders telling us what to cover or how to cover it. That independence is also our biggest vulnerability: nothing protects it except readers choosing to fund it directly.

Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under in a moment like this, it's rarely the independent, reader-funded ones that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
