‘That’s a Breathtaking View’: Angela Simmons’ Tight Dress Leaves Fans Agape

Angela Simmons‘ fans were blown away by the “Growing Up Hip Hop” star’s look on Jan. 27 after she posted a stream of photos of herself wearing a short print dress with gold heels as she posed on her balcony overlooking the city.

Simmons complemented the revealing ensemble with a low ponytail, gold accessories, and a full face and captioned her post “The night is young 🥰❤️.” The form-fitting dress enchanted droves of fans, and one went as far as to call her a “view.”

Days prior to the initial upload, Simmons shared a motivational post urging her fans to step out of their comfort zones as she posed in a lunging position while wearing a multicolored tracksuit with a white sweater.

She said, “The comfort zone is a beautiful place, but nothing grows there. This year I made a promise to myself to work on myself for myself. I won’t accept anything less So myself. Who’s with me?”

As many fans praised the reality star for her message, others focused on her body. One complimented the 33-year-old’s figure,

“Best figure award goes to Angela without a doubt.”

“Are you from the moon? Because your physique is out of this world.”

An Instagram user mentioned how voluptuous her backside looked. “That booty too fat😂😂😂😂.”

Simmons has credited a strict fitness routine for keeping her body firm even after the birth of her son. She said, “I have to constantly find my inner strength in me to work for what I want. I have watched my body go up and down in weight. I gained in different areas…it’s such a different battle after childbearing. Weight doesn’t drop as quick. It takes true dedication and strength to lose it !!”

Still independent.

We hope this story was worth your time. For over 14 years, Atlanta Black Star has stayed Black-owned and independently run. We didn't get here by waiting on ad budgets that were never built to prioritize us. Our readers did that.

Corporate support for Black media has always been thin. Outlets like ours get roughly 1% of the $170 billion spent on U.S. advertising each year, and that margin is shrinking further as advertisers walk back the DEI-linked commitments they made in 2020. That's the backdrop. It's not why we're asking.

The wider picture isn't any steadier. Newspaper ad revenue has fallen more than 80% since 2005, and local newsrooms are closing at a rate of roughly two a week nationwide. When outlets go under, it's rarely the ones built to center a Black perspective from the ground up that get to stick around.

We know a request for support isn't why you came here. But without readers choosing to fund this work directly, the depth of reporting we can do at home and abroad shrinks along with everyone else's. If you're not in a position to give, that doesn't change how much we value you as a reader.

If you are able to, a recurring contribution does more for us than a single one-time gift, because it lets us plan the next investigation instead of just the next invoice. It takes about 30 seconds, no long form, no account. Thank you for continuing to support independent journalism and freedom of the press.
