Kandi Burruss‘s fans wondered what youth concoction the 44-year-old reality star from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” was drinking on Thursday, Nov. 19, after she posted a new photo of herself rocking a partial updo. Many of her followers confused the star with her 18-year-old daughter Riley Burruss.
The ageless beauty was all smiles as she went to film a confessional for the hit Bravo series. Kandi wore a white shirt and a red silk robe. Burruss captioned the Nov. 19 post, that racked up over 41,000 likes in just 16 hours, “It’s a feel-good day! đ” Fans couldn’t get over the striking resemblance the mother-daughter duo shared.

The reality star has been in promotion mode for the past couple of weeks as she gears up for season 13 of “RHOA.” During this season, Kandi will tackle her booming empire as she and husband Todd Tucker prepare to open up a high-end steakhouse restaurant called Blaze Steak & Seafood, named after the couple’s almost one-year-old daughter, Blaze. In August, when the two opened the restaurant in the Cascade Road area of Atlanta, Todd revealed this restaurant was more than just a tribute to his daughter; it was also the couple’s contribution to bringing a quality dining experience to a predominantly black area in Atlanta.
In his Aug. 11 Instagram post, the producer wrote, “I live in Southwest Atlanta and always asked why we don’t have certain restaurants in our area (Black Area). But I’m not asking anymore! I will build what we want and what we need in our communities! They better not let me figure out how to build my own grocery store!”
The Xscape singer also juggles being a mother to her infant daughter, son Ace,4, and Riley. The cameras will also capture moments of Riley getting ready to leave the nest as she heads off to New York City for college. Season 13 of “RHOA” will premiere on Dec. 6 at 8p.m. on Bravo.
