Reginae Carter and rapper YFN Lucci caused an uproar on social media on Sunday night after they were spotted leaving what may have been Teyana Taylor’s Halloween party.
In the Nov. 1 upload, a fan can be heard in the background chanting “Period” while Lucci places his arm around Carter’s side as they try to escape the crowd. Another video shows the 29-year-old smiling after fans recognize him, with Carter casually walking right behind him. Following the news, some fans threw massive shade at the reality star for reuniting with her ex, while others were a little more empathetic toward her.

“If Boo Boo the fool was a person.”
“Lol i dont wanna see no more “self worth” essay posts from sis no more😭😩😭😭.”
“Y’all in her business? don’t do that😂.”

The pair’s public outing comes days after Carter dropped a fan’s call on Instagram Live for asking her to pick between rapper Young Boy Never Broke Again or Lucci, following the 20-year-old’s recent statement about impregnating the reality star on his newly released track “The Story Of O.J.”
The rapper said in the widely shared clip, “I’m trying to convince Fee to tell Reginae how big the sh-t gonna be if we have a baby.” This remark didn’t sit well with Carter’s alleged on-again boyfriend, because after the lyrics were shared on The Shade Room’s Instagram account Lucci retaliated in the blog’s comments section, calling the rapper a “real b***h in person.” Reconciliation rumors began weeks ago after the couple was seen taking a boat trip and sharing the same chef on their respective Instagram Stories.
This past summer, Carter revealed on her official Twitter account — a year after her public breakup with her ex — that she was over dating people with children. The 21-year-old said in August, “I’m done dating niggas with kids… It be the bm/bd love for me…keep that sh-t away from me lol.”
It’s not clear whether those remarks were directed at Lucci, who is known to have four children.
The two started dating back in 2018 and broke up in July 2019 following Lucci’s attendance at a “cucumber challenge” pool party hosted by “Love and Hip Hop” star Alexis Skyy. Carter, who seemed to profess embarrassment on social media after she herself showed up at the same party in an apparent move to keep tabs on Lucci, later explained why the event was so demeaning and she was ending things with the rapper. She said on her IG Story, “If you have a daughter, that sh*t is not cool. If you got kids, your kids going to school, and trust me they are talking about it.”
The budding actress also added that the #CucumberChallenge was “childish, dirty and pathetic.”
