Despite celebrating her birthday less than two weeks ago, Ashanti, who dubbed October “Shantober” — a combination of her name and the month’s name — informed her followers on Friday that the monthlong festivities weren’t quite over yet by posting a photo of herself wearing a birthday sash and a majestic purple two-piece swimsuit.
The “Foolish” singer seemed to have a gold theme in mind when it came to accessories. She wore gold hoop earrings, gold necklaces, gold bracelets, and gold anklets. The 40-year-old completed the look with black-and-gold sunglasses, and a fuchsia-colored flower in her downward ponytail as she beamed her million-watt smile. Ashanti captioned the Oct. 23 upload “Yeah…. it’s still my birthday 🎉🎂♎️ #shantober 😩.” Some fans continued to send the actress their belated well-wishes, while others complimented her youthful appearance.
