‘This is What We Came to See’: Zendaya Blesses the ‘Gram with Her Breathtaking Beauty

Actress Zendaya recently blessed the social media timelines with her beauty.

On Monday, Sept. 7, the Disney alum hopped over to her Instagram page and shared several selfies as she enjoyed a day of soaking up the sun. The star showed off her knotless braids while wearing a simple white tank top. The actress accessorized her look with gold necklaces.

The post, which had no caption, has gained more than 11 million likes and over 95,000 comments from Hollywood friends and fans alike since its posting. Fashion director Gabriella Karefa-Johnson commented, “Remember when someone said the sun exists for the sole purpose of hitting your cheekbones? VERY THAT. 😂.”

While “Insecure” star Kendrick Sampson left a cute little comment saying, “Z to the, E to the – Up in the morning, new day is starting it’s me, it’s me,” a play on the theme song from the hit show “Moesha.” Singer Brandy starred in the series in which she became notable for wearing her hair braids similar to the ones Zendaya sported.

Fans also showered the actress with compliments, including one user who wrote, “we luv protective stylezzzzz.” Meanwhile, another person commented, “NOW see 🙌🤩 this is what we came to see❤️ #mug🔥.” A third fan wrote, “wow I just woke up and my eyes have been blessed.. and suddenly I’m blind 😩😍.”

Zendaya’s breathtaking snaps come on the heels of the star celebrating her 24th birthday just one day before. The “Spider-Man: Homecoming” star celebrated the big day with a throwback post of herself as a toddler. In the photo, Zendaya sported a red and white cowgirl-inspired look and a matching red cowgirl hat. “I’m incredibly grateful for all the beautiful birthday wishes I received yesterday, feeling very very special, so thank y’all ♥️ Here’s to 24,” the actress captioned the vintage photo. 

The post received over 4 million likes and several comments from fans wishing the actress a happy birthday, including actress Tessa Thompson who wrote, “Wow. Stylish from jump! Happy Born Day.” She added, “Another trip around the sun ! 🌹.” Also, “Insecure” star and comedian Yvonne Orji left a sweet message, saying, “You’ve accomplished soooo much, and yet your star is still sooo bright.”
