Yandy Smith-Harris has the internet obsessing over her curly tresses.
The “Love and Hip Hop: New York” star showed off her natural mane this past week, and fans had no choice but to hype her up. She took to Instagram on Friday, Sept. 4, with a photo of herself tugging on her natural curls.
“When I take my wig off I be like…Let me let this soul glow (who can guess what that’s from?!) (Hint: Just let your Soul Glow),” Smith-Harris wrote, quoting a movie line from 1988 film “Coming to America.”
The television personality looked stunning with her voluminous coils and complemented her look with a soft makeup finish and peach crop top-and-pants outfit. She modeled for an impromptu photo shoot on a side street and flashed a huge smile at the camera.
The post racked up more than 42,000 likes and many fan compliments. One person claimed she looked like a “Nubian queen” with her natural hair.
Another user added, “Hey queen you’re beautiful ❣️🌹🥰.”
Someone else wrote, “You are so beautiful ❤️ loving the natural look 😍.”

Smith-Harris’ natural hair post comes a few days after she expressed how much she disliked homeschooling her and husband Mendeecees Harris‘ children amid the pandemic.
In a Sept. 2 post, she shared a photo of her 5-year-old daughter Skylar posing in what appeared to be a children’s library and wrote alongside the snap, “Don’t let this lil innocent face fool you. Homeschooling got me ready to poke my eyes out with each of her beads. 🥵👿 America you failed our babies on this one for real!!! I’m certainly not prepared for this but I gotta do what I gotta do…how you mom and dads doing out there?”
Followers seemed to agree with the mother of two and claimed they were over the new school year. One of Smith-Harris’ fans quipped, “Yeah mines in Kindergarten I’m over it she’s over it. 🤣😂 she might just have to get her GED cause mama can’t 😩.”
