Samuels hit Instagram on Friday, Sept. 4, with a photo of himself posing inside his new Atlanta home with his 7-month-old daughter. In the picture, Samuels appears silhouetted in the backdrop as he held his daughter up and seemingly planted a kiss on her cheek.
“A mere human could never block what God has planned for you! Just keep that in mind my ppl! Str8888888,” the “Love and Hip Hop: New York” star wrote alongside the post.
The photo of Samuels and his daughter was indistinct due to it being shot from a distance.
IG users inundated Samuels’ comments and asked why he and Mena refused to reveal their daughter’s identity.
“What’s the real deal why y’all wont show this baby,” a follower asked.
Someone else agreed with the person and wrote, “Like no name no pictures. Your both reality stars that documented her whole pregnancy and then the people who follow you and basically help sign checks because we watch u can’t see a beautiful miracle or know her name?? Just odd to me!!👎”
“Can we see a pic of your 👶🏽,” another added.
One IG user demanded, “I won’t to see your baby.”
A fan defended the first-time father and said that he’s “not obligated to” show his daughter to the public. Another user chimed into the conversation and said it was “creepy for a man to be obsessed about seeing a stranger s baby.”
The “Hunnid” rapper and Mena welcomed their daughter in February. The pair haven’t revealed the child’s name and, like her husband, Mena is adamant about not showing their baby to the public. She tweeted on Feb. 25, “Maybe one day but honestly don’t wait on it. Showing her isn’t part of our plan at all.”
The couple’s daughter is their only child together. Mena also has a 13-year-old son from a previous relationship.
