Tamera Mowry is flourishing during this quarantine and her fans have taken notice!
The 42-year-old former “The Real” co-host shared a flawless selfie in a black tank top, natural-looking makeup, and curls for days. From her carefree expression to her dressed-down style, the actress’ inner happiness shone through in the image.
“Happy girl, happy curls! 💕#weekendmode #naturalhair,” she wrote in her caption. “Thank you @shaiamiel for teaching me how to love and take care of them. It’s been a journey.”
Celebrity hairstylist Shai Amiel responded, letting her know how much of an example she’s setting for girls with natural hair everywhere. “Thank you!! For all that you do for the natural community,” The Curl Doctor replied. “If you only knew how many women & young girls came to me and said they wanted to try wearing their hair natural because they saw you did it. I applaud you.”

Mowry shocked fans when she announced her departure from “The Real” after co-hosting the show since its 2013 beginning. Actress Garcelle Beauvais will be stepping in as Mowry’s replacement during the show’s seventh season. After the recent departure of Amanda Seales as well, current co-hosts include Beauvais, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Houghton.
Between spending quality time with her adorable kids, and filming her family’s YouTube series “The Housley Life” with her husband, Adam, Mowry has been enjoying living her best life with her additional free time since leaving the show.
