When it comes to skin care, Kenya Moore doesn’t play around. The reality star from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” proudly flaunted her blemish-free face in two photos she shared to Instagram on Sunday, Aug. 23.
Kenya seemed to be relaxing at Cynthia Bailey‘s lakefront home, what she calls Lake Bailey, and was dressed to impress for the occasion. She wore a white dress with a low-cut halter-top neckline that made her cleavage the center of attention. Her 24-inch locks were curled to perfection and swooped to one side. The gorgeous mama of one went for a natural makeup look, featuring fake eyelashes and clear lip gloss. She topped her radiant appearance off with silver hoop earrings, and struck one pose by smizing at the camera. “Have a blessed Sunday❤️,” she wrote in her caption.
People went absolutely nuts over her youthful skin. One user raved: “THANKS !!! You look stunning girl your melanin is popping 😍🤩,” while somebody else said, “Natural beauty❤️.” Comments like “Who gave you the permission to be this gorgeous???? 🙄” and “@thekenyamoore is like a fine wine…. 🔥🔥” also rolled in underneath the post.
As for what Kenya does to achieve her youthful glow, the Detroit native explained in a 2019 interview with HollywoodLife.com that she drinks plenty of water to flush out her toxins and keep her skin healthy. She then went on to reveal that she also doesn’t wear a ton of makeup. “I just don’t really wear makeup. Unless I’m just feeling bored one day and I’m like, ‘Oh, I want to you know, treat myself to a face today,’ ” she added. “[I keep my skin] clean. I make sure that I don’t sleep in makeup, that I do a thorough cleansing and moisturizing before I go to bed. So, you know, keep it simple.”
The 49-year-old reality star has always embraced her rich skin complexion. In 2016, a fan accused her of bleaching her skin after the Miss USA winner posted a photo on Instagram that showed her sitting outside with blogger B. Scott. It’s pretty likely that the sunlight bounced off her skin, causing her to look lighter than she actually is. She fired off at the user in her comments section, explaining that she doesn’t bleach her skin and is “proud to be chocolate.”
