Monica‘s attempt to remind her fans that she’s still the original Miss Thang went slightly left when they began questioning whether her recent sexy shots are really because she’s expecting her ex-boyfriend, rapper C-Murder, to be released from prison any day now.
The 39-year-old R&B singer, who shared a whole photo shoot that took place on a balcony in what looks to be in Atlanta, had fans stumbling to find the right words (or emojis) to express how goodt she looked.

Sporting a fully beat face and waist-length tresses, it was her tie-dye bodysuit and matching hip-riding sweatpants that sent fans into a frenzy. The sexy casual look was a hit, but the timing of the photo shoot wasn’t lost on fans. They took to the comments to compliment her, as well as calling her out for showing out for the No Limit rapper, born Corey Miller, whom she’s working on overturning from what his supporters say is an unjust murder conviction as soon as possible. The pair were dating at the time of Miller’s arrest in 2002.

Monica and C-Murder’s former relationship-turned-longtime friendship has been in the spotlight since the singer recently announced that she’ll be working with Kim Kardashian to have his conviction overturned.
C-Murder was sentenced to life for the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Steve Thomas in 2009.
