Angela Simmons is seemingly happy in her new relationship with boxer Daniel Jacobs, as the star continues to share precious moments from the two since confirming their relationship status.
On Friday, August 14, the “Growing Up Hip Hop” star shared a snap of the pair on vacation covered in mud on her Instagram page. “Thank you so much @srdfcommunity
@stonefieldvillaresort for a private, safe and exclusive experience.,” the reality star captioned the snap. She added, “due to COVID 19 we couldn’t interact with the locals nor be out in public for safety precautious measures. But we had a great time. #HotSprings 🥰 Thank you so much 😊.”
Fans flocked to the comment section gushing over the new couple and how visibly happy Simmons appeared to be. The “Built Not Bought” founder recently confirmed on her Instagram page her relationship to Jacobs on Saturday, Aug. 8, when she shared two photos of herself and Jacobs on their way to a wedding. Simmons wore a gorgeous, form-fitting, aqua blue dress with a high slit. Simmons finished off her look with a pair of stiletto pumps. Meanwhile, the two-time middleweight world champion looked sharp in a tailored blue suit. “TKO,” Simmons captioned the snap referencing her boo’s boxing career.
The reality star later shared clips to her IG stories of the two of them holding hands during the wedding, both visibly enjoying their budding relationship. Fans showed overwhelming support for the couple. However, it didn’t stop them from poking fun at Simmons’ sort-of ex rapper Bow Wow — the pair briefly dated during their teen years, but never made it to boyfriend and girlfriend status. “Somebody check on Bow wow,” one fan commented.
However, the “Like You” rapper said he harbored no hard feelings, as he explained during an Instagram Live video on Monday, Aug. 10. “That’s my dog, man. We been telling y’all we just friends. Man, I’m happy for her,” the rapper explained.
He added, “I was excited, she deserves it. And he’s a good dude, and a hell of a fighter too — y’all know I love my sports. I’m happy as s–t for her. And besides, y’all know I’m still outchea, you know what I mean. I’m still outside. Being with me wasn’t gon’ be the right thing to do.”
