‘We Wasn’t Ready’: Toni Braxton Shows Off Fit Figure In ‘Dance’ Music Video

Toni Braxton just gets better with age! At 52, the singer and songwriter proved age is just a number when she showed off her fabulous body in her new music video “Dance.”

The official music video became available for streaming across all digital platforms on Wednesday, Aug. 5, but Toni shared a preview of the footage on Instagram one day prior. In one scene, the “Living Legend” is decked out in rain boots as well as a black leather bodysuit that hugged her curves in all the right places. Standing in water, Toni moved her body to the beat of the music. Her straight black hair was neatly styled and parted down the middle. The mother of two opted for a glam makeup look, featuring a pink lip with gold glitter in the inner corner of each eye. “DANCE – video tomorrow!!! #TakingOutNegativeInfluence” she captioned the clip.

Toni is gearing up to release her 10th studio album, “Spell My Name,” on Aug. 28. In advance of the development, she dropped her single “Dance” on July 31. The song serves as an upbeat antidote for anyone suffering from a heartbreak. The song follows her hit single “Do It,” which is a ballad that offers advice to anyone struggling to leave an unhealthy relationship.

At the beginning of April, Toni signed a record deal with Island Records and released “Do It” to celebrate her accomplishment. Toni teamed up with Missy Elliot to create a remix of her hit single shortly afterward, but the original version of the single scored the No. 5 spot on the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay charts.
