“Real Housewives of Atlanta” OG reality diva Nene Leakes seemingly is fed up with the Bravo network.
On Friday, Leakes posted several tweets letting the world know she would not take any nonsense from the network or allow it to make her feel inferior.
“If I have to stand alone, I WILL,” she tweeted. Then she followed by writing, “I’m READY! U hav tried to lessen me & make me insignificant for the last few years! That ends NOW! wanna talk publicly or privately? #igotthedreamteam.”
With all this drama, fans are uncertain about whether Leakes will be filming for the upcoming season.
Some fans encouraged her to leave the show if she’s not happy.
“Girl just let that show go your time have come and passed.”
“She needs to continue on her spiritual journey and move on. Life is too short 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.”
“If I’m not happy or not getting treated properly at a job I would leave.”
Her tweets follow after she spilled tea earlier last week in an Instagram Live regarding her contract for the “RHOA” season 13.
Leakes claimed she’s in a holding pattern in her negotiations. “It’s not me, it’s them,” the outspoken television personality said.
Leakes said she can’t make their pens move faster.
The mother of two also expressed that the network has issues of their own with the “I said what I said” reality diva.
According to Leakes, the network is tired of Leakes referring to herself as a “queen” and the “HBIC,” meaning the Head B- in Charge.
“Well, I’m a queen. I’m Greg’s queen. I am Brentt’s queen. I am Bryson’s queen, and I am a Black queen,” she said proudly about her husband and two sons.
She didn’t stop there. Leakes also pointed out what she sees as favoritism by the network.
Leakes said that she was told that she hit one of the producers and they could’ve “prosecuted me for that if they wanted to.”
The “RHOA” queen talked about her closet incident that led to chaos in episode 17 of season 11 when she ripped a cameraman’s shirt for trying to go inside her closet.
“I never hit any producer. I grabbed his T-shirt, and his T-shirt tore. Everybody knows that.”
Leakes said she wondered if Teresa Giudice from the “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” who pushed host Andy Cohen down at the season 2 reunion after a heated argument with a cast mate, got the same treatment.
“I wonder if they had that conversation with her,” Leakes said in a sarcastic tone.
She claimed that former friend and cast member Kim Zolciak-Biermann received special treatment when she was on the show, filming when she wanted, leaving when she wanted, and mentioned that during season 5 they had to plan a vacation around her schedule.
Fans pointed out white privilege in Leakes’ sentiments.
“Honestly, she’s making a lot of points. These white women on the same network be acting a damn fool, and they still able to return and do exactly the same s–t they been doing. She has a big point.”
“A lot of the white women on other shows do a lot worse but still get to come back. She said some examples in her live. Like Kim z. She never filmed Any trips always walked off and then she got her own show.”
Leakes has been a part of the “RHOA” franchise since the show first aired in 2008.
