Angela Simmons may have been trying to shed some light on her fresh set of braids, but it was her sneakers that stole the show.
On Thursday, July 9, the “Growing Up Hip Hop” star shared to Instagram a beautiful gallery of photos of herself. In the picture, the 32-year-old was wearing a denim jacket and matching distressed shorts, complemented by a black tank top. The television personality finished off her look with a pair of gold hoop earrings and a fresh pair of Air Jordan IV Retros. “When we feel in love it was the summertime. #NycWithIt,” Simmons captioned the snap.
While Simmons might have been trying to show off her look as a whole, fans couldn’t help but comment on her impeccable footwear. The photo gained over 90,000 likes since its posting.
“Them 9s sh—ing in a major way,” one fan wrote. Another fan commented, “Them 9’ss [two fire emjois].” Overall, Simmons’ picture left many of her fans stunned by her beauty, not to mention wanting a pair of Jordan IVs for themselves.
Several fans complimented the reality star on her selection, however, others were concerned with how she was treating her sneakers in one of her poses. One fan wrote, “Dam the crease in them Js tho… but you still bomb af,” while another added, “That crease you putting in the J’s is Hurting my soul.” A third fan chimed in, “Nah why you creasing the jays like that though [shaking my head and crying emoji.]”
This is the second time this month that Simmons’ feet have caught her fans’ attention. On July 3, Simmons Beauty founder shared a photo of herself sitting outside on her balcony. Her Instagram followers described the snap as “perfect.”
Simmons was photographed wearing a mostly black T-shirt with a pair of spandex shorts. The Pastry co-founder opted to go shoeless, and the crowd went wild. “Wow beautiful head to those perfect toes,” one fan commented, while another added, “You have some nice feet.”
