It looks like Masika Kalysha and her daughter’s father, rapper Fetty Wap, won’t be reconciling anytime soon.
On Monday, May 4, the former “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” star posted a video of herself prancing around her home in a revealing jumpsuit. She danced to her song “Take It Off” and joked about her dating life after the pandemic.
“Practicing for my 1st post quarantine date with @ __ 😝 tag who my 1st date should be in the comments 😂,” Kalysha wrote on Instagram.
One fan suggested the television personality get back together with Wap and commented, “Fetty! I want y’all TOGETHER😍”
Kalysha indicated her relationship with the rapper was over for good and replied, “I rebuke u in Jesus name”
Fans instantly reacted to her response.
“Well damn @masikakalysha 🤣🤣🤣”
“😂🤦🏾♂️ why shorty even say that”
“nah I liked her better with the bald guy. He seemed so into her I forgot what happened”
“Fetty dont want her ? Never have 😂 just like when she was pregnant 😩”
“They made a beautiful baby together and she is an amazing person! I loss, hell he should want her!”
Kalysha and Wap were together for a short period before their daughter Kharie Barbie, now 4, was born in 2016.
However, Wap has characterized Kalysha as a one-night stand who purposely became pregnant by him. Two months before their daughter was born, the musician told the Shade Room, “Basically, she [Masika Kalysha] knew what she was doing. I wasn’t just no random dude in the club, you know what I’m saying? She knew I was going to be there, and that’s how that happened.”
Kalysha slapped down his claims and countered that they were in a committed relationship but broke up because of his infidelities.
As for co-parenting their daughter, Kalysha recently suggested that Wap is an absentee father. On April 20, she sided with a fan who was dealing with her child’s “deadbeat” father and said she was in the same boat.
Kalysha received backlash for her comments but fired back: “I did a whole Q&A venting session 4 anyone wanting to destress. Sis was stressed. I know her pain & decided to laugh w/her instead of crying which is what u want to do when u watch ur kid cry over their dad.”
