LisaRaye McCoy Says the Kardashians Have ‘Single-Handedly’ Changed How Women Want Their Bodies to Appear

LisaRaye McCoy had something to say about the way some women are shaped these days. She said it earlier this past week during a discussion on “Out Loud with Claudia Jordan.” Vivica A. Fox and Syleena Johnson were also on the episode.

“The Kardashians have single-handedly changed the woman’s body shape that’s acceptable now,” said McCoy. “Now it’s the small waist, all this ass, look like the ankles can’t even hold up all of that … I’m thinking to myself, ‘I don’t want my body to look like that.’ ’Cause that’s the body that everybody has now.”

Jordan then said that “everyone is shaped the same now,” because they “all are going to the same doctor, getting the same exact everything.”

“They’re making every generation after that feel like that’s what they have to do to secure the bag, as they say now,” McCoy added.

A lot of folks eventually weighed in on the discussion, and many agreed with what McCoy had to say about the Kardashians.

“Yesssssssss lisa,” wrote someone on YouTube.

“There has been not one lie told! FACTS 💯,” another person stated.

But there were some who didn’t quite see things McCoy’s way.

“Can’t just blame them you gotta blame the female rappers the l&hh cast (all cities) and today’s men for making women think that’s what’s beautiful,” someone wrote.

It’s been said for many years now the Kardashians, especially Kim Kardashian, have been setting a bad example for young women when it comes to body image. One of the more recent times was at last year’s Met Gala in New York City when she was wearing a corset that made her waist look smaller than usual.

“Kim k is actually a bad example for young girls … its so unrealistic and toxic for social media,” one person tweeted after the event.

But Kim’s trainer Melissa Alcantara shot back soon afterward on her Instagram Story.

“Kim trains her a- – off 6 days a f—king week,” she wrote. “She wakes up early af and is dedicated. I don’t give a s–t about your opinions on her body if you think she fake or not.”

Elsewhere in the “Out Loud” episode, McCoy said it’s common these days for some women to expose too much of their bodies on Instagram, which she doesn’t care for.

It was something that Fox said she agreed with.

“In my opinion, they give away too much for free,” Fox explained. “LisaRaye and I both played strippers in a movie. I played a stripper in ‘Independence Day,’ she played one in ‘Players Club.’ We got checks for that.”
