50 Cent Issues a Unique Kind of Apology to Everyone He’s Wronged

50 Cent issued an apology on Instagram Friday, April 17. It’s not clear if he was being sincere or just fooling around, but his post received over 106,000 likes anyway.

‘i want to apologize to you, if i have offended you over the years. I would say i’m sorry but i’m not a sorry person. 🤨This will have to do!” he wrote.

The rapper/entrepreneur certainly has done more trolling than apologizing in his career, but he has shown some remorse a few times.

In 2016, he apologized to an autistic man for making fun of him when he was in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. Initially, 50 thought the then 19-year-old man was on drugs, but he later learned he was autistic after someone told him online.

“While the incident at the airport resulted from an unfortunate misunderstanding, please accept my sincere apologies for offending you,” he wrote in a statement. “It was certainly not my intent to insult you and I wish you and your family well.”

The man’s family accepted 50’s apology, but still said no one should be making fun of others, especially on social media.

Additionally, 50 apologized to fellow rapper Moneybagg Yo in September of last year after Moneybagg posted a photo of him with Megan Thee Stallion, his girlfriend at the time.

“All kinda good looking h–s out here the pressure a break em. Lol,” wrote 50 in the comments of the post.

“Yeah h–s but she don’t fall in dat category,” Moneybagg wrote back.

Sometime later, 50 said he had no idea it was Megan in the photo.

“Hey @moneybaggyo I looked at this picture saw your comment, and wrote that i didn’t even realize that was Megan,” he stated. “Misunderstanding no disrespect I’ll hit ya phone later.”

In November, 50 also apologized to Naturi Naughton after he made fun of her hairline and got criticized for it.

“Umm… mean much. Don’t I make you look good every Sunday night? But cool,” Naughton wrote in response, while mentioning “Power,” the show she used to be on with 50.

“Yes, you do a great job on the show,” 50 answered. “I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings.”

But he insulted Naughton again after that by posting a split image of her and the character ‘Goro’ from Mortal Kombat.
